What to tell us when you call
- The address or a nearby landmark where we need to come.
- What happened: a home door or car is locked, a key is lost, a lock is broken, or you are planning to have a smart lock installed.
- Details of the lock or car, if you know them: the lock type, or the car’s make, model and year.
- A photo of the door or lock, if it makes the assessment easier. We will agree on the call how to send it.
- How you will confirm your right of access. This is required before the service, and the verification method is agreed on the call.
If a child, a vulnerable person or an animal is locked in a car, especially in heat or cold, call the emergency services on 112 immediately.
