Limitations and safety
Proof of right of access. We only replace a lock when the customer has the right of access to that apartment or house. This right is confirmed before the service, and the way it is verified is agreed on the call. If you rent, it is best to agree the lock change with the owner in advance.
Not every lock fits every door. On some doors, fitting a standard lock requires extra adjustment or a different model. If the door or frame is damaged, replacing the lock may not be enough; the technician will tell you this during the assessment.

Is replacing the cylinder enough, or should I replace the whole lock?
If the lock mechanism works well and the problem is only with the key or the cylinder, replacing the cylinder is often enough. If the lock sticks, is damaged or no longer fits the door, replacing the whole lock may be better. The technician will give you a final recommendation after the assessment.
We have moved into a new apartment. Is it worth changing the lock?
In most cases, yes, because you do not know who might have copies of the old keys. Here, replacing the cylinder is often a sufficient solution.
Can you fit a lock I bought myself?

Will I need a new door handle as well?
